Mezzo soprano Allyson McHardy, tenor Andrew Haji, and bass baritone Stephen Hegedus join l’Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal for the opening concert of the 22/23 leg of the Complete Cantatas of J.S. Bach, a multi-annual event done in conjunction with Bourgie Hall.
Rafael Payare conducts the soloists, orchestra, and OSM Chamber Choir for this program of Bach Cantatas.

Baritone Justin Welsh joins Chants Libres for Backstage at Carnegie Hall, a world premiere in co-production with Bradyworks and Le Vivier.

Baritone Andrew Love and tenor David Pomeroy join the Calgary Opera for an evening of operatic favourites to celebrate their 50th Anniversary Season.
Audiences will hear Andrew and David, with a line up of Canadian talent, perform the program, with the evening to be hosted by Ben Heppner. Alice Farnham and Jonathan Brandani conduct.

Dean Artists' Catherine St-Arnaud appears as Albertine à 30 ans in Albertine en cinq temps, alongside a cast and creative team of all women who have brought this piece to life.
With music by Catherine Major and libretto by Michel Tremblay, this production features stage direction by Nathalie Deschamps and musical direction by Marie-Claude Roy. It is the first opera written and performed in the unique Joual dialect of Québec.

In Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, sopranos Lauren Margison (Aug 25 & 28) and Jonelle Sills (Aug. 27 & 29) sing Tatyana, and mezzo soprano Simona Genga (Aug 25 & 28) sings Olga.
Also this summer, baritone Nathan Keoughan joined the team for a series of concerts, masterclasses, and an independent study project.
